This gorgeous mountain home is 25 miles from downtown Greenville, a short 45-minute drive to escape the workweek grind. It’s nestled in a 10-acre lot on the South Saluda River, and surrounded by the breathtaking view of the mountain landscape. It has 4 bedrooms, with the master on the main level, and the house sleeps 8 in beds— maximum 11 guests, please. The cabin has 2 ½ bathrooms (one walk-in shower, one tub/shower).

You can wind down in the grand living room complete with a stone

fireplace, 23-foot ceilings and fir trusses. The complete kitchen is equipped with all major appliances, so you’ll be far removed from “roughing it.” In fact, you can enjoy the amenities of home in the upstairs den that holds a flat screen TV and Wii, plus there is free, high-speed Internet, so you won’t have to worry about being disconnected—unless that’s your goal for this getaway!

The property offers views of Caesar's Head and Table Rock mountains from the large, screened porch and deck, or from the hot tub, which holds 6 people comfortably. If you desire to commune with nature in the great outdoors, there is a short walking trail to the South Saluda River from the house. However, if you prefer longer hiking options, this house is situated within 10 miles of 4 major parks: Table Rock, Caesar's Head, Jones Gap and DuPont Forest.

For history buffs, you’ll find just across the street, a Civil War-era graveyard and the historic Saluda Hills Baptist Church. Should you feel like venturing out, there are restaurants and attractions within 3 miles, including Aunt Sue's, Pumpkintown Opry, and Victoria Vineyards winery and café.
